Cristiano Ronaldo has been cleared by the LFP to face Eibar on
Saturday after his one match ban was overturned and yellow card he
received against Rayo Vallencano cancelled by a committee set up by the
league board.
Ronaldo was booked for simulation after he went down
in the box in the clash against Rayo Vallencano but replays show that
the Portugal international was indeed fouled and Real Madrid appealed
the decision as the yellow card meant that the former Manchester United
ace was going to miss the clash between Real Madrid and Eibar due to
suspension. The league however received the appeal and cancelled the
yellow card thereby removing the one match ban and delivering some bad
news to the Eibar defense: They would have to contain the best
footballer in the world when they clash with Real Madrid tomorrow.
Ronaldo is currently the leading goalscorer in the la liga and in Europe with 37 goals in 27 matches to his credit.
